THE BE PROJECT, V.5 / be grateful
I remember hot summers by the stream and laughing hard at the dinner table when my dad made a joke and the sound of suitcases being pulled in the airport and cousin sleepovers and the smell of chlorine on my hair and dark nights and watching the stars and tea parties in our basement with my dolls. Some of the greatest, grandest and happiest moments of my childhood were the simplest, smallest, most innocent moments.
Today is a plethora of small moments and gifts waiting to be opened. Unravel the small beauties in each day, saying thank you.
It is the sweet, simple things of life which are the real ones after all. -LAURA INGALS WILDER
